Situated in the South of Ireland, our operational base is in Cork city. We aim to as accurately as possible show how a Roman soldier looked and operated in peacetime and in War. The Kit we wear the weapons we carry are as    (given modern constraints) near as we can get to the roman soldier of 2000 years ago. For the benefit of realism we drill give and receive orders in Latin.

We are always interested in expanding our membership, and we also  include Celt allies and Civilian Roman re-enactors. We already have a “Roman Senator”

NOTA BENE: If you are interested in joining...

Please do not purchase any equipment until you have checked with our list of suitable and acceptable equipment. There  are many poor copies of kit which look okay until you compare them with historic reference.
