Romans Ireland
VEX LEG VIII AVG Hibernia And our friends from
Britannia LEG VIII AVG MGV. Took part in the city’s
St.Patrick's Day parade. This was the very first
time that a ROMAN “Living History “group took part
in such a parade in Ireland. Of course St Patrick
himself was in fact a Romanized Britton and his name
derives from that very roman name “PATRICUS” and of
course he brought to Ireland (HIBRENIA) the “ ROMAN
CATHOLIC FAITH” So one could say we were honoring a
true son of Rome.
We would like to thank Connors Mum Sarah and Mcgill
